Country Club of Roswell has a long history of raising funds to support local charities like Special Pops and Stand Up For Kids and we are proud to support these charities.

What can you do to help Country Club of Roswell support these worthy charities?

It’s simple...participate!

•Make a cash donation to our event. Become an event sponsor and show the community that you care about these at-risk youth and individuals with special needs!

•Donate an item to our Charity Auction Gala. Suggestions include services, gift certificates, golf outings, vacation item is too large or too small!

Special Populations Tennis Program, Inc. (Special Pops Tennis) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization offering an adaptive tennis program specifically designed to share the lifetime sport of tennis with children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Equally important is the opportunity our program offers these special athletes to build their self-confidence and life skills through social interaction with each other and the many dedicated volunteers who run our programs.

Training: Special Pops Tennis offers coaching from beginner- to tournament-level competition. League Play: The Special Pops Unified Doubles (SPUD) League is the only USTA-sanctioned adaptive tennis league of its kind in the country. Competition. Special Pops Tennis hosts the largest adaptive tennis tournament in the country, which includes The Dinner Dance, an overnight hotel stay, and the Medals Ceremony. Athletes may compete in five out-of-state tournaments and the annual Special Olympics Georgia Summer Games.Wellness Program: Special Pops Tennis complements the on-court training with nutrition and fitness education.

Stand Up For Kids (SUFK) is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1990 in San Diego, California. Across the nation, 17 local chapters operate independently to address the many challenges faced by homeless kids in their cities. The Atlanta Chapter began in 2003 with a Street Outreach team offering assistance to stabilize youth in crisis where they congregate and live…on the streets and in shelters.
