Swim Team/Staff

Country Club of Roswell's swim team, The WAVE, participates in the North Atlanta Swim League (NASA). All ages, abilities, and levels of experience welcome from age 2 to 18! We offer learn-to-swim instruction for our youngest waves (the Ripples) and freestyle and backstroke development for our newest swimmers (the Junior Waves) and stroke instruction and refinement in all 4 competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke & freestyle) as well as racing dives and turns for the WAVES. Swimmers can surf-up through the groups in a single season as they improve!

Our focus is on fun, proper technique, fun, a true team experience, fun, introduction to competition, physical fitness and cross-training for land-sports, and most of all sportsmanship! Meet participation is not required. Waves are welcome to contribute to the team and atmosphere at any level at which they are comfortable – we would love to work with you no matter your summer schedule!

Our team averages between 75-100 swimmers per season. The season starts May 13th (after school) and regular practices (in the mornings after Memorial Day) continue through the end of June. Our dual meets are contested against neighboring clubs and community pools on Thursday nights (with some exceptions) and culminates and fantastic Championship Meet the last weekend in June.

ANNA COTE -Head Coach

My name is Anna Cote, and I will be CCR’s head coach for the 2017 swim season. I graduated from Marist School in spring 2015 and I am currently a sophomore at Indiana University (go Hoosiers!) I swam competitively for seven years. For four of those years, I swam year round for Swim Atlanta and was a varsity swimmer for my high school team during the season. My senior year, I was elected as captain of the girl’s team.

This is my third year coaching for CCR and my fourth year being a swim coach, and I’m so excited to coach such a great team again this year . Additionally, I will be available all summer for private lessons outside of team practice. I can’t wait to see what this season holds!

JENNA KIMBLE-Assistant Coach
My name is Jenna Kimble and this is my first year coaching for CCR! I graduated from Lambert High School and am currently a Sophomore at Georgia College and State. I swam competitively for 11 years at Swim Atlanta and also helped the Lambert High School girls swim team win state titles for a 4peat. I also grew up swimming in summer league for Longlake neighborhood. I was sad to stop swimming when I started working my junior year and have really missed it. I am really excited to get back involved through coaching to help others learn to love swimming as much as I do! Some of my other interests include racing in triathlons, hanging out with my family and cat, and binge watching Gilmore Girls.

I will be available for private lessons all summer so please feel free to contact me! I am super excited to see what this season brings and look forward to meeting everyone!

JAKE TODD-Assistant Coach

My name is Jake Todd and I’m one of the CCR assistant swim coaches. I graduated from Cambridge high school in 2016 and am currently a freshman at Georgia College and State University. I began swimming at 6 years old and have been in the water ever since. I’ve swam year-round for eight years including four years on my high school team where I served as the captain my senior year. I also currently play on the GCSU water polo team.

This is my second summer coaching at CCR and I am looking forward to another fun and successful season!
